Owner, Veterinarian

Dr. Basran graduated from Haryana Agriculture University in India in 1967. Shortly after arriving in America in 1976, he passed his board exam to become a licensed veterinarian. He practiced for 3 years in Iowa and later 2 years in Illinois before establishing Logan Square Animal Hospital in 1983. With over 50 years of practicing veterinary medicine, Dr. Basran has a wealth of experience in small animal medicine especially internal medicine and soft tissue surgery. When he’s not working he enjoys spending time with his grandchildren and golfing.

Veterinarian

Dr. Konstantinov graduated from Trakia University in Bulgaria in 1996 and took a clinical year in 2006 at Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine. He began working at Logan Square Animal Hospital as an associate veterinarian at the end of 2007. Dr. Konstantinov’s professional interests include internal medicine, dermatology, and soft tissue surgery. When Dr. Konstantinov is not working he enjoys going to the beach and spending time with his 3 Maltese dogs and his exotic shorthair cat Congo.

Hospital Cat

Coco has been here since he was a kitten close to 10 years ago. He came to us after being surrendered as a severely sick kitten and the doctors here treated him and brought him back to a clean bill of health He has continued to live a healthy and happy life. His favorite part of working here is meeting clients and rubbing his head against them. When he’s not tending to the front desk you can find him taking cat naps in the back stacks of towels.

Veterinary Technician

Tangie started working at Logan Square Animal Hospital in 2009. With over 15 years of experience, Tangie is a dedicated pet lover of all shapes and sizes. Her favorite part of working at Logan Square is helping animals and getting to learn about different things and assisting in surgeries for interesting cases. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her 3 cats and 3 dogs.

Veterinary Technician

Michelle started working at Logan Square Animal Hospital over 23 years ago. Working here since 20 years old there isn’t a thing Michelle hasn’t seen or can’t handle. When she’s not working, she enjoys spending time at home with her dog Luna. Her favorite part of working here is getting to take of animals every day.

Veterinary Assistant

TJ started with us in June 2021. He takes pride in ensuring pets are comfortable and well taken care of. He has been coined the “dog and cat whisperer” by his co-workers. You can always find him playing with our hospital cat Coco. Outside of work, TJ enjoys playing video games and hanging out with friends. His favorite part of working at Logan Square is his co-workers and getting to meet cute dogs and cats.

Veterinary Assistant

Blayne started here in 2020 and has been a resourceful and helpful employee from the start. He loves dogs and cats but most importantly Yorkies. His favorite part of working here is getting to interact with clients and ensuring their pet’s wellness. Outside of work, Blayne enjoys biking, skateboarding, and playing with his cat JRoc.

Veterinary Assistant

Jasmine started here in 2014 when she was still in high school. Jasmine’s favorite part about working here is getting to see all the cute dogs and cats. When she isn’t at work she spends her time at home taking care of her 2 young children.
